Default Dangel Peugeot or Peugeot Dangel

Bumped into a guy today who reckons that a 505 Dangel (which he has spotted on French ebay) isn't a Peugeot with modifications by Dangel, but a Dangel with 505 bodywork. I've never seen one in the flesh, but how much Peugeot is there in a Dangel?

AFAIK there is no car manufacturer known as "dangel" rather dangel was a model for both the 504, and the 505, manufactured entirely by peugeot.

Henri Dangel designed and built the 4WD system and it was installed in a number of models.
In 1978 Rod Slater (Eurocars Perth) checked on price to Australia and it was prohibitive and at that period Australian Compliance would have been almost impossible.
Some Dangel details are at http://www.garage24.net/0504-5.htm
    1986 Renault Fuego GTX
    1972 Mercedes Benz 280E
    1988 Nissan Trakka Campervan
    1972 VW Kombi

Dangel are still doing Peugeot and Fiat 4 x 4 conversions though mainly commercials by the webpage which is in French but understandable.
