Default Geuss who a part of the 205gti club?

Yes its true, i wanted to confess before the rumour mill comes out with bogus allegations.

Just this morning i put down my deposit for a series 1 gti.

Bargain price, the thing goes well. Mechanically decent its done 285,000k so yeah HEAPS, the engine will be worked on/rebuilt.

Until then im happy as larry, should pick it up before wed.

If you are curious, my marriage to my 306 xt is still strong, lets just consider the 205 to be my fiesty mistress.

good to hear the only rumours in qld are about my new car & not about the females who now have my kids.

Certainly is. I saw the add last night & knew it was a bargain & would be sold quick, so i made sure i was there first.
How many cars have now been sold via af, therefore from member to member? Not many, if any??

O yeah the steering wheel is for my ps2 LOL.
Speaking of which thanks to dino i shall have one a genuine one, thanks bud. This means i wont be needing the aftermarket MOMO one, so i'll chuck that on ebay with the sandals as the two items match very well all you need is a black holterneck dress for the couture finish.

Yeah im so pumped, i've been on a high all day.

    Love always

Congrats on the purchase! I'll be looking forward to seeing it on a future drive day to see what it can do.

And this time, try to refrain from putting on a spoiler and those wing things like you had on the 306...

AHAH, can i finish saying 'bank loan please' before the bank manager tells me to piss off?

Obviously i've contemplated this in my dreams for many a year, whilst i love to do it, it is unlikely. I dont know, i think i got a soft spot for 8valves now.

Congrats on your purchase, have you started going to gym so can turn the steering wheel in a series 1
The Haynes manual is ok, on the forum at www.forum.205gtidrivers.com it referred to as the book of jokes because it is not very accurate if you can get a secondhand one and save a few $ that would be good, otherwise I think if you go to a Repco store they can get them at a reasonable price, handy as reference guide. Are those white Mak rims going on or is the 205 a mistress for special occasions!?!

I swear last night i was dreaming about my MAK rims on the 205, it would look quite good as the car is white too. I think i may put them on for special occasions, kinda like when i wear my versace sandals (which are in the for sale section).
Im now looking for a set of speedlines or 206gti rims. I dont know about everyone else but i really dont like the pepperpots, plus i've been dealt a hard blow as the car comes with michelin certises.

o & looks like i may be picking up my new toy today !YAY!

    Nice one Asanka....

Two cars huh?? You must be pulling the money from somewhere. Keeping a 205gti on the road is just like shovelling money into a furnace.
