    For Sale

One extremely classy wooden gearknob. Handturned by Tasmanian virgins. Reluctant sale. Owner suddenly caught case of good taste. Will suit early 505.

No. If is doesn't handle as well as it did before then I'll have to give the genuine one the flick.

The way I'm going I'll have a whole new car in around six months. With the old one in various pieces around the garage.

Did you end up kicking the old distributor around the shed, I'm sure it would have made you feel better!

No I gently placed it on its position on the shelf, although I did give it a stern talking to and reminded it that it's lucky I don't give it to the kids to play with You never know when you may need it, even if it is a pain in the @rse.

Noel thinks the counter weights are to blame on it, we felt a little more clear in the head this morning *we did have a couple of wines with dinner after all*

Have just been looking through Haynes, and it appears I can extract and replace the drive shaft without dropping off the sump. Using a 'hooked instrument' to lift it out. Any comments?

I dont know, but i'd imagine you would need to turn the oil pump.

    But that could work!

    Cheers
