    Default 180 Seats

Do you find the seats in a 180 comfortable?

I personally find it hard to sit in nicely. I feel that the flat bottom cushion allows too much movement.

My girlfriend who’s quite small, loves the seats.

I have found the seats great, average trip of late has been 1200k to 3000k and at the end of the trip i get out more refreshed than many other cars i have had. Also great on the twisty stuff.

who makes the seats, I have heard that they are made by recaro

I agree with all of the above so far!

Did a drive from Melbourne - Sydney and back recently. These seats felt great the whole trip, no lower back aches like I used to get from my previous vehicles, no sensation of "I just for off a boat" when I get out, and like Jester said... My bum, she don't get numb!

I'd have to say the 180 seats are more comfortable than the Recaro's in my brother's car. They are more comfortable than the S16's as well.

maybe im all skin and bones, or Im a sucker for PAIN,... BUT I hate ANY seat except my Sparco race seat (genuine race seat). In the S16's I used to have the all leather option, but for nearly 4 years I have had the Sparco ( model Ultra).
When I test thrashed the 180, I thought they were pretty, but lack lower latteral support, and PSA haven't really fixed the ergo issue with the adjustment Vs pedal placement, I actually like it (good for heel tow) but poor everywere else when compared to a honda or something similar, having said that the seats are a definite improvement over the normal 206gti seats. - Chris

The seats are very well made - and yes 100% better than my '00 model 138. The later model 138s were an improvement, but the 180 ones are a different kettle of fish altogether - so to speak.

Maybe it's really that low suspension you've got James

I don't suppose you've done any more of those fancy carbon fibre thingies for your engine bay, by any chance? They looked pretty good.
    Regards,

    Simon

For me, they are great! Love em and must admit, anytime anyone has had a look in (as I often get people at the local carwash etc asking!) they are suitably impressed - and every passenger thus far has commented on how good they feel (and thats from the shortest to the tallest to even the widest ;-)
