if that is the car i am thinking of it will have 11:1 forged pistons in it
604 struts and brakes
other suspension work
505 plastic fuel tank
504 coupe speedo
goes very well and a lot of time and effort has gone into it
if it is the car i am thinking of i have seen it in person on quite a few occasions

I noticed that add about 6 months ago so been on the market for a while. A really nice car and probably worth all of $9,800, but obviously waiting for the person who really wants it bad.

it's definately worth all of the near 10k he's asking, but personally as much as i love 5 0's i couldn't justify spending near 10k on one. Good 504's are rare these days ( bloody arabsOriginally Posted by Peter J

) and thats all i'd want. I really think that allthough the 6 would make it a fun car, it could make it pain in the rear end especially when it comes to registration and insurance (no pun intended) to drive. There again, the only PRV powerd car i've ever been in was an ovlov

i don't think you would have any dramas with that car
it has had that conversion done now for quite a few years and the car is immaculate and very well thought out
it is by far the nicest conversion i have ever seen on a 504
as for rego i can't see any problems as there are a few around the traps that have been converted to PRV and only an engineers ticket is needed which i would say this car has had
as for insurance i can't see any drama there either
if performance is all you are after then that car would eat pretty much any TI that came along but that is not what this car is about
you need to see this one in the flesh
i am not a fan of 504's in white but that car is beautiful inside and out and as i said before a lot of time and effort has gone into it
if you wanted arguably the best 504V6 in the country then this is the one and if you were in that position then the price wouldn't put you off having it in your driveway

A fellow frogger and well-known V6 identity went to have a look at this car with a mate, some time ago. According to him it's not as good as it sounds; perhaps not as good as it once was. He said the following:
"We offered $7500 because the diff was leaking, 2nd gear synchro was not working there were nasty cracks in the A pillars, rust in the B pillars under some bog, it has no power steering and a clunky rack, cracks in the front seats, rust in the boot floor . Its also had several crappy paint touch up jobs. The fuel injection is Bosch K mechanical injection and while its working well this, like 505 STIs is a daggy old system. On the road it does not feel as good as mine, this would be brakes suspension and steering and the seats. The owner has an overly positive view of what its worth and appears blind to the shoddiness of the body and rejected out offer and made no counter offer."
I was a little bit interested in buying the car myself.
Sorry to be a wet blanket.
