Default got the 205 back from the panel beaters

picked up the 205 from the panel beaters today.they did a pretty good job all in all but of course i found a few things when i got it home.
driv side rear panel had not been replaced ,only repainted and the protruding lug that clips into the bumper hole is broken off and wont meet quite right.
also a scratch in the paintwork that was just above the bumper end on the drivers side .this must have been done when fitting bumper as i did the same thing with front bumper when helping my panel beater freind to fit it.
reflective panel only stuck down on one side and not the other.
a few things extra i asked to be done were not done either.
i will go back and they will do it again as the work has a three year guarantee but its such a hassle not having my wheels.
also i found it such a joy to have my car back and once again was reminded why i bought it in the first place,it goes so fast so quickly and stops on a dime[alright! 10 cent peice]and corners amazingly.also the momo wheel felt so small after that godamm bucket o bolts they lent to me.the clutch feels like a truck[well hard anyway] and the brakes as hard as a rock.hhhhhhhmmmmm harrd brakes!!!!!.
you kind of loose perspective when driving it all the time, and quickly regain it after driving another car for a week.i might even change my mind on putting a mi 16 in.
i got a small platic container of the paint from them for touch ups which they give as a courtesy thing which is pretty cool.-BAZZ

Glad to hear it Baz! Yeah, sometimes I wish they would do the job right in the first place though. My bumper bar and rear bar are a slightly different colour to the rest of the car. Bummer on that! It's going back tomorrow for them to have a look see.

i totally agree about them not getting it right in the first place,it must cost them more when you come back but i think they rely on some people not having the time etc.they picked the wrong person here as i will keep goin back till its right.they also didnt use all the things quoted for so
wonder if the old lady that hit me will get a discount, some how i doubt it.

i also noticed that the plastic trim that has been painted is very rough to the touch,i think they could of at least wet and dry'd it a little to smooth it out.i am goin back to to get them to do it right.
the reflactive panel has lifted where they glued it down on one side.
they need to clamp it down when glueing it for at least 24 hrs or more.
id get them to repaint your bumper till its done properly.i must admit that they got the colour matched very well on mine bit all in all didnt quite match up to the task completley.
i must say though im not surprised as the level of workmanship these days in most trades is apalling.they know they are in high demand and take advantage of it,there are still some honest guys but they are hard to find.-BAZZ
