    504/5 air filter

I stuck in a new Purflux one today, although didn't bother to read any instructions blush . I've just noticed on the purflux box it says to soak the foam element in new motoroil and let it drain off before fitting it. I suppose I should take it out and do this?

That's right... the foam holds some oil and this stickiness is what holds back the dust particles as the air flows through.
