    Default 405 suspension

    does anyone have pics of the rear suspension of a 405? i want to compare it to my 605's to see how diff it is.

    Chalk and cheese pops into my mind. The 604 is rear wheel drive the 405 is front. The 405 is a beam arrangement between the wheels with the shocks etc laid back quite flat to maximize the boot space. Needless to say the 405 has not got a diff in the middle of the back wheels either.

    Neil,

    I think he did mean 605 not 604 as he said in his post. 605 is a FWD same as a 405!

    Infact a 605 is somewhat like a big 405!

    sounds to me this fella could do with a copy of the parts manuals

    It is completely different, the 405 has torsion bars whilst the 605 is a wishbone and coil setup.
