Now this is a .sig
AF'd in PER, MEL, SYD, ADL, CBR
Just a quick note, the diagram does not work for the model i have. Speaker wires are good (would there be a problem if + and - are reveresed?).
For a Gti 180 2004 model
A8 - Earth - Yellow/Green Wire
A7 - 12V Battery - Think Blue Wire
A6 - Accessory - Yellow Wire
That works for me and i got the Mp3 player installed.
Theres just one problem nowWhile doing it i blew the accessory fuse ! after changing it, the car wont start

Now its towed to peugoet at parramatta![]()

would have been cheaper and alot easier to get a good audio installer to do it for $60
anyway
why does this fuse require the car to be towed???
if i knew it was going to do that then i would have got someone to install it for $60.
thats what i want to know as well, if the accessory fuse blew, then it should be it but instead the car wont start as well after changing the fuse.
the roadside assistant guy said that the immobilzer could of got reset or something so the car wont start. Everything is is ok.
thats abit of bad luck...
hope it gets sorted. let us know how it goes
Oh no!
These diagrams can be a little confusing to look at. For example I think they are referring to the sockets on the radio and not the sockets on the car harness, ie. A4 & A6 can be easily confused that way, depending on if you are looking straight into the car harness connector, or at the back of it when it's plugged into the radio.
Not sure if I'm making any sense here, but I know what I mean![]()
The PeugeotLogic web site has a detailed (and no doubt accurate) list of the car harness connector pins (in the electrical section of the workshop) - if I'd seen your post earlier I may have pointed you towards that too. Some of the pin functions are a little obscure though. For example, the +VAN Comfort signal I'm pretty sure is a lighting display signal (ie. dim/bright depending on headlights).
It also uses 4 digit numbers instead of colours. If you look at your harness (if your car hadn't already gone to THAT place), each wire has a 4 digit number on it. I shall now endeavour to fix up the .pdf before someone else comes a 'cropper.

When it comes to detailed wiring, this place has it in spades hehe.
Read the "Peugeot All Models" section first.
