    rims rims rims?

as some of you probably worked out, i am working out a lot of stuff before i get my car (hopefully an m16), when i turn 17 in a couple of months. as i will be getting an 89, and really dont like the 14s much on them, but can't go bigger than 16s because my old man won't let me (too impractical, tyres cost too much. pffft..) so anyone put 15s or 16s on an mi16? are 15s really too small?? also anyone know any decent wheels other than some of the team dynamics ones that fit a 405?

    TSW, ROH, Speedy, OZ, Simmons...
plenty of choice out there, just need to find them.
    and as you know, Momo

i'm guessing 15's will be easiest to find, both wheels and tyres.
cant compare the sizes, i've only had 14's and 17's.

Whats wrong with the 14" wheels ? I think they are fine, throw some good rubber at them, they hold on quite well *I think*

14"'s are definately cheaper. I have a mate with a mi16, he put ECO Continentals on the car. low profile, said they hung on like the proverbial to the blanket. Putting bigger rims on increases your insurance, running costs (unless you keep the same rolling circumfrence) and maybe your looks (if your a poser :p )

Stick with them. I have 14's on the 205, michellin, and I haven't been able to fault them. Even goofed a kerb at high speed (took the wrong line in a corner) and didn't damage them.
