    Default mi16 running rough

Yesterday afternoon my 405 mi16 began spluttering when accelerating in first and second from low revs, but ss soon as it passses about 2500rpm it is fine.

The guys at peugeot i saw to this morning were very vague, but said something about the coil. Does anybody have any ideas as to what could be causing this?

I had something similar happen in another car, but this time there was no warning at all. Do tuning problems arise this suddenly? It felt really good yesterday morning...

I had a similar problem with my mi16. I was only running on 2 cylinders up until about 3000 rpm. The problem wasn't coils but my leads had corroded. I just got my mechanic to replace these and have had no problems since.

Also, check for condensation in the plug holes which can cause shorting.

It does feel like it isn't running on all cylinders. I had a similar feeling in a v8 daimler i've got - turned out it was only running on five cylinders.

Anyway, it's booked in to get checked out in the morning. Hopefully that's all that is wrong with it.
