    Default New 206 GTi 180

I finally received my new Gti 180 And now have absolutely no money left

Just a couple of questions, i already got a little stratch on it Was parking in the garage and when i was opening to boot i let it go and it flew up Can i get any touch up paint for the blue colour?

Also is there any good place to go cruising around sydney? Feel like a drive around windy roads

    Thanks

jester what type of paint, and finish is on the 180's?
If its like the GTi's then they have a large amount of clear. Hence I woudln't recommend any sort of cutting compound. Id use a touch-up pen and the blend in with a nice buffing wax, like Meguiars Gold Class Swirl Remover. This what we do (except using Sikkens commercail products) at the panel shop. - Chris

There is 4 holes on the front of the deck .. insert something like 4 large split pins (20-30mm), it'll unclip the unit and allow you to slide it out forwards.

i use mcquires swirl remover for clear and mettalic finishes on mine to remove fine scratches and, well, swirls, I then follow with a mcguires clear coat polish.

but that for me, not suggesting anyone else use it

I had a light scratch about 5-8cm long to the rear of the "flap" window on the driver's side. It looked like it might have been caused by a tree branch or something of the like.

I asked the detailing guys at the dealership if they could buff it out for me at the 10K service. They were very nice and did a great job on it and I can not commend them enough!

It might be worthwhile talking to your dealer, they might have the resources to do it for you like mine did.

    Nick
