Who makes the best suspension products for pugs? i was thinking eibach but they don't makes springs for the 605 anymore. Would bilstein? What are my options? anyone else have a 605 where they have replaced the shocks with something aftermarket? I'll be in melbourne as well this year.

Koni would probably make something for the 605 seeing as they are only a big bodied 405 although the suspension is slightly different but i doubt the shock dimensions would be

as for aftermarket springs you can always get them made by any good spring maker

Although Konis are listed in the 2003 catalogue, the current PP price list doesn't include them... maybe they've stopped making them or maybe they've stopped importing them?

I'll check this out next week for you if you like.

I would always recommend fitting good shocks first, only change springs if there is a reason or if fitting the shocks doesn't achieve what you want.

cheers thanks for that guys. do you think it would be possible to rebuild the ones that are in there and make them firmer? does anyone do this or would the standard shock be made so you can't pull it apart?

Probably is... but you're better off to get the Konis if you can... they're adjustable and they're factury-tuned for the car.

Give me a week till they get back to work and I'll check them out. I can also arrange a handsome discount on Konis.
