    Default 2nd Hand 206's

Daughter is so impressed with our new Peugeot that she wants one too. Her budget only runs to a second hand car. She is really interested in a 3 door.

Are there any particular problems that we should look for in used 206's?

Decided to run the new car in by taking it for a run to Tassie and back. 23 days, 7512km. Car handled it easily and us in comfort.

Dealer was impressed to have it back after 9 weeks for 10000k service.

Maddia, just to throw another suggestion in - a late 306 is a very nice car and the three door is one of the best styled hatches ever... 306XSi is particularly good.

If she is looking for 3 doors there are lots of 2000GTi's for under $20K, but there are not many of the XR 1.6ltr around at the moment and those that are are over priced (IMHO), the GTi is better value (ABS, 4 airbags, Auto lights, wipers etc). The GTi only comes in manual (not sure if this is an issue). Never seen even the lower speced 206's under about $14K.
