    Icon5 205 - Engine Oil

    Hi guys,

    Need some urgent help!

I've just realised that my 92 205 is dangerously low on Engine Oil, however because I havent had the car for long enough I dont know the engine bay AT ALL! I know its terrible but I just havent had a chance to read my Haynes manual yet.

Can someone just tell me quickly where I top up the engine oil???

Assuming they are similar to other 8valve XU motors, the oil filler cap is sort of like a black plastic tube that sits in between the injection manifold, with two rubber hoses coming out each side and when you take off the cap there will be a gauze.

So basically look for a black plastic tube/cylinder that is sitting around the injection manifold with two rubber hoses coming out each side.

If it's original it will be via the black plastic cap on the passenger side of the inlet manifold. The top just pulls out of a small "cup". Be careful that you don't break it if its not broken already .

Default also check your oil level frequently

I've found my 205s is thristy. Ran completely dry on my first 205 and was not a nice feeling.
