I think they are coming out early next year. 133kw is what I have heard as well. Same as the 307 GTi we should get late next year as well.

I think the chase for HP in the 206 by Peugeot is Chippers fault also.
He keeps building up his 205 to go faster so the factory has finally responded - not before time too!

    Hi Guys,

they'll be trying to get some market share back from the Renault Sport most probably... Can't blame them, I'd take the sport too, no-matter how 'cute' looking the 206 is.

Why would you take a clio sport over a 133kw 206?

I've read some good things about 206gtis...it seemed all they lack over a sport was power... with 133kw the 206 would seem pretty competitive.

Anyone had much experience with 206gtis here?
    opinions?

well after driving my mothers 206gti a couple of times i find it a good little car
haven't driven it since she lowered it though to see what it is like now
i still prefer my 306gti6 over the 206 just for the sheer power and size of my car over the 206
i think the 206 with mroe engine would be a good little package
be interesting to see what they are going to be like

motor magazine say its a great handling little car, (Series 1, 102kw), and with 102 kw it still pulls 0-100 in 9.0 seconds, which isnt spectacular but still pretty good. supposedly it is let down by its horrible cab ergonomics????

    206 awd turbo @!*@*@

    oh god that would own

However I don't see something like that ever happening, except maybe a 200-odd homologation style run I guess. Pity tho because I would love to be able to take on STIs, Evos, other jap turbos etc and take them to bits
