Default 50x towing 50x this morning?

Don't know whether or not it was anyone on this forum, but on my way to an indecently early meeting up at Walhalla this morning, I got distracted by the weather over the Strzeleckis to the south of the Prince's Highway and was taking some photos in flight ... and barely woke up in time to notice the guys clustered around a 50x on a tandem trailer behind another 50x (not being snobbish here, just didn't notice in time what they were) parked in a weigh station just short of Yarragon -- at least, I think that's where it was.

Don't know what they were doing, but I know I was running way too late to stop and inquire -- would have, otherwise -- because they made a fuss of pointing out my car as I went past, and I certainly acknowledged them in passing. Not really sure whether it was the foggies or the fact that I was sitting somewhere approximate to 110 and still in 4th, and hadn't yet got round to kicking it into 5th, what with the photography and all ....

Was it a blue 505 behind a white 505 station wagon?

If so it was my 505 turbo V6 race car on the way to a hill climb at morwell organised by Grahm Wallis.

Cool! How did you go? Whereabouts at Morwell was it?

I haven't looked yet at how much ground I covered today, but I was up at Walhalla till about 2pm (snow on the ground as I was passing through Rawson), then took a run down to the Prom, and only got home round 7:45 tonight.

I had a pretty good day but it was very wet and slippery and the track is very tight and I probably had way too much HP. We had one dry semi dry run which was ok but it would be much more fun on a dry day. There was a few offs, two unfortunately resulting is severe damage to AF member cars which soured the day somewhat. All up ther was around 20 entries and a good day was had by almost all. Thanks to Graham Wallis for organising the day

No injuries thankfully. Speeds were well down as track was so wet.
