    Default Mi16 programmable ECU

    Hi !

I just finished installing a DTA E48EXP engine management in my car.
Lots of wiring, but now, no distributor, no air flow sensor. Instead, a tiny MAP and double ignition coils (wasted spark).
When I bought the stuff, I was thinking of having not necessarily a much powerful engine, but a more responsive one.
Does anyone have experience in this ?
I now find myself in the situation of having to map the ECU myself having no dyno and most of all, no time to do it.
Any advice? Maybe maps? Even factory stock configuration?

I've done the same thing with a Haltech ECU. I can give you some maps in numerical format if that helps.

You'll find a lot more low end torque and throttle response. Enough torque infact to drive around corners a gear higher.

    hi,
I've sent you a copy of the Mi16x4 map. You'll need to download the Haltech E6S (or later) software from www.haltech.com

Thank you very very much! I'm very happy about the map...hopefully I'll have my car running again soon. I actually abandoned the project for a while, I've been really busy. How about a barbecue?
OK, thank you again. What's the setup for the car that runs the map you sent me? Is it stock, throttle bodies,AFM or MAP? As you know, I'm trying to get mine running on MAP. Are the injectors standard?

std. everthing, except MAP sensor added and AFM deleted. So load sensing is via MAP sensor.
