I'd love to own a 406 coupe one day - It's just a pity that they are so darned expensive new. Although with the redbook value of a '99 model at between 33k & 37k depending on the K's of the car they only seem to have held about 45% of their original value - that's quite a substantial drop in 4 years.
Maybe a 2nd hand 406 coupe wouldnt be such a bad thing...

Very nice ... manual too, reserve not met, then again look at all the other auctions .. reserve not met on most of them either, why bother with Ebay if people won't make your reserve. No bids on the 1989 Ford Capri Automatic .. I wonder why

Cheap advertising, it has worked on this forum, people looking at his stock.Originally Posted by XTC206

406 coupes don't exactly rock my socks off these days. I used to really like them, but now they just don't really do anyting much for me.
That RS capri is tough. Was looking at a friends mint 3000 the other day, in orange (kinda like the old GT orange), wearing minilites, black stripes, twin system, other than that original, very nice little car.
In which auction, wasn't in the 406 one?Originally Posted by orestes

So a 30K reserve isn't far off the mark. And note Cambelt is due for change at 80,000kms (or 4 years) ... doubt it's been done, that's another $1000+ due.

I thought the cambelt change for the V6 models was 120000km's or 6 Years. I may be wrong though.Originally Posted by XTC206

That's right it's the diesels. I don't know where I had it being the V6's from.Originally Posted by XTC206

The V6 is the same, 120k or 6 years, although I've noticed that they have changed the information on the new look Australian Peugeot web site. Still I had mine replaced at 85000 before I agreed to buy the car, I wasnt taking any chances.Originally Posted by TroyO
