    went to the creek came home with this

    im in the right lane (k&n filters) got a good reaction time wheelspun changed into 2nd bogged down then nailed it im still learning how to launch

    but an improvement over last time (16.5) and two of the runs were almost identical times so i feel i am getting better at the whole drag racing thing

    p.s. i was up against a gtir pulsar

    87.79MPH trap speed...I'd have thought the GTi6 would pull more top end, but nice results anyway

    hopeless 60ft time but

    the best speed recorded so far was 91mph
    but that was a 16.9 sec et

    You did damn well concidering the car you were versing was a 4wd turbo

    When you get the starts down you will become lethal(for a fwd)

    Good on ya man just keep practicing

    Good to see you getting out there and having fun. Though I don't think the '6 is exactly suitable for drag racing, not with that tall 1st gear and expensive clutch changes!

    Blastek, I don't reckon 16 sec quarters, or even 15's are lethal for a fwd. It's not bad, but far from lethal. I've seen heaps of competitive fwds do low 14's and the really fast ones mid 13's. Most of the quick stock cars, such as pulsar SSS's, swift's etc do high 15's/low 16's.
