Perhaps there is hope of a full size 16" steel spare yet. Would hate to see what the price is though?

Didn't check the size of the spare rim .. but all 407 are 17" rims, this one had P7's as the tyres.

    W94 rating .. so a 17" stealie ... that's serious (206GTi180 guys you might have a option here (depending on width/offset etc).

Just popped past actually & had a look in the flesh. Bloody nice looking car I think, seemed a lot more svelte than the C5 it was parked near. Nice arse too! It should really stick out in OZ traffic. Nice one Peugeot

I tell you, there's a fairly significant difference in the ride of the 16" and the 17" wheel cars.

I've driven the 407 SR 2.0 16V HDi '135' with the 16"s and been in a 407 ST 2.2 for quite some time. P7s do like to roar a bit. I'll get around to writing some drive impressions soon.

What do you think of the mirrors? The position is a-miss (and the black plastic looks cheap when compared to a 206GTi's gloss black jobs).. the 307 position with the small window is nicer .. IMHO. They do fold though (with a button on the key fob).

The positioning is more like old cars with mirror mounted to the door. One thing that is good is that if the mirror get taken out then it's not likely to the side glass with it.

The design of the wipers is interesting. I haven't see that sort of design before.

I also like the pull up shades on the back doors. It's is nice idea.

Are you talking about the integrated blade design - quite common now on premium European cars.

They're good too, but not cheap to replace either.

I'd figured that. No more going down to Supercheap Autos to pick a set of Trico wiper blades.

I had another look at the pics & now I see what you mean. Looks more like an add on than part of the design. Saying that though, its still very nice! Bet they look great in darker colours

PS noticed in the Allpikes site they havent got ACE down on the clubs list, have they forgoten us again!

That's right, an 850 Sedan to be precise. The seats had just been repadded and reupholstered.
