Riced up 504!!!

I went back to the Argentinian site www.pisteros.com, dedicated to "Tuning".

Check out this 504:

mallet mallet mallet

You can see the rest of this car here or the rest of the Peugeots (there are many) here. Some of the other 504s are almost as bad. I actually kind of like some of the 404s.

I know most on this forum will hate this, but i really like it.He hasnt gone over the top, other than the art work on the side.He was maintained the nice lines.I'm all for it. I would have never thought a 504 could look like that.I just showed my dad who has owned numerous 504's & even he doesn't mind it too much.
hmmm Auto salon project car maybe???? head_ban dance

This yet again confirms my opinion that spoilers and skirts look really sad on a 504.

Ughh, horrible.

I like the idea of a 504 with a nice set of wheels, maybe a bit of lowering.....but skirts/spoilers are just not on..

The issue I have with it is with all the plastic on it + the low suspension it will have lost all of its respected handling capabilities.

Growing up in South America, i can see why he did this. You got to realise french and italian cars, are as common as jap and Korean cars for us. Honestly we had 4 2CV, 304's, 404's, a 505, and several Fiats.. this is a South American Holden Gemini, common as roo sheet. So he's just trying, trying a bit too hard to be different. - chris

ps, i don't like much about it either,

Well thats the end of another 504....sad really isnt it!

I wish people would leave classics like a 504 alone mallet

I don't mind it.

I think that lowered 504's look great, a bit more aggressive perhaps.

The spoiler has to go. I am yet to see anything 'spolierish' other than the 911 duckwings that i like.

Not sure about the skirting, overall I think it looks great.

Wonder if the double headlights would change the look?

I saw a 'done up' 504 at uni last week. Has been resprayed yellow, with original steel rims painted white with recently polished chrome hub caps fitted. Brown vinyl interior looks brand new. Basically restored to an 'as new' condition. Pretty impressive compared to most of the other older pugs in the car park (a certain faded red 505 comes to mind dead ).

Is nothing sacred from ricey mods? The 504 looks shit with all the spoilers and that rice that ricey fuel filler cap!

The 404 doesn't look to bad, just the paints a bit on the rice side.

Ditch the paint job and lower it another inch and the 404 would be great. 2_cents
