    Default Indicator switch problem

I'm having problems with the indicator switch in our 306.
Left hand turns are not a problem and it works perfectly.
When indicating for a right hand turn, it clicks very fast and the indicator light does not show. When I put a bit of pressure on the switch it works fine and if I turn the steering wheel so that it doesn't point straight ahead it also works fine.
Any suggestions on what I should do?
Is it worth removing the switch and having a look?

Arthur, sounds like something is fouling the switch movement, may have to take the steering column covers off then check if it works ok. Look for obstructions to the indicator stalk. doesnt sound like the problem is inside the switch itself. also check the steering shaft lobes and the levers on the switch that provide the indicator self cancelling function

    Thanks Decca.

    Will try over the weekend.

Just hope I don't break anything in the process.
