    Temp Gauge on a 205gti?

All that have a S1 205 gti will know that the temp gauge has no numbers. So what I would like to know is what temp the car is at each increment on the gauge.

My gauge stopped working since replacing the clutch.. you don't know where the temp sensor is??? it's not listen in the haynes manual (that I canfind)

As long as the fans come on it doesn't matter. Stick the radiator fan switch in a pot of hot water on the stove, with a thermometer, and measure when it goes closed circuit. It will be good knowledge for all of us!

umm, id suggest to check the thermostat cuts in (should be around 83 degrees) and check when the thermostat cuts in which should be around 92 degrees. peugeot_

On my Mi16 then fan comes on around 98oC and the car runs around 85 driving around and anywhere between 85 and 98 around the town !

    Ben

PS mine seems to get hot in traffic really quick...it heats up the fan cools it down...then it gets hot again and cools down again...weird! but i've been told is fine...
