    Default 308/307 HDi oil recommendation

    Hi all,
Can anyone tell me where, besides a dealership, I can find Total Quartz oil for the 308 and 307 HDi?
Otherwise, what oil should I use. Itís the correct SAPS C2 specification I canít seem to find. Oh, and Iím assuming the 2.0 litre HDi in the 307 and 308 use the same oil. Correct?

Or some other options. A bit old, but it gives you some ideas on other types which may be still around or upgraded now. I've seen the Penrite Enviro range mentioned a few times.

Depending on what motor is in the 308 a RHR runs 5/30 but a RHH should NOW run 0/30

The NSW distributor, unless something has changed, doesn't want to supply any but dealerships. If you don't mind the courier fee, get it from the Qld, Vic, or WA distributors (contact pages on Total site). 3 off 5L bottles per package.

Other C2 low ash oils are available retail everywhere, such as Penrite, though its ash content is a little higher. Penrite have dropped the old Enviro product.

Castrol have their professional (bulk) C2 range, but you'd have to go to a country agent - at least a 20L drum.

I donít know why because to keep our parts targets most would be ordering via Pca
