    Icon3 spring top bearing front

    so i found out what noise was when i turn left .

    its the bearing on top of the spring .

    now what i need to know if anyone can help is what one do i order .

    i will get vin if needed .

    car is a 2001 306 xsi 2.0 .

    my mechanic asked me to get part n he will fit .
    as he is family friend so he lazy lol .

    The bearing between the spring and the body is a wear item. Give EAI at Thornleigh a call with your VIN at hand.

    Sometimes the fitting around that is worn too, and that, if needed will possibly be a dealer item. You'll know when it's disassembled. You have to spread the hub assembly at the rear to get the strut out. The top is asymmetrical, so don't replace it back to front.

    My mechanic is fitting it for me just have to get the parts for it . If I need I dont mine buying parts . I was looking the the bearing n the top mount u can get them in a kit . Been on Ebay lol .

    I have a couple of original rubber top mounts in very good condition if you want them.

    I swear some mechanics are stupid . Problem with my strut top bearing was they put it inn wrong way round so had to replace the strut top n bearing as there ****ed cause of mechanic . But my mechanic noticed it n fixed it . Some should not be in buiness.

    I did mention that.....
    The top of small Pugs and Cits has no tab or projection to make it impossible to put in the wrong way. An experienced Pug bloke will know.

    yeah i know , my mech found it thought i would tell u guys girls .. lol .
    i just got coilovers fitted . just the noise was annying so i replaced that for time being . i havent driven the pug yet as i was at work and my misses picked up the pug for me
