Default Grinding, rattling noise on revs

    Hi guys,

I have this noise on my pug 307 2.0l petrol, 2004 model with 137000kms which sounds like grinding and sometimes rattling from the exhaust system on high revs, like when changing gears. I am certain it has something to do with the exhaust. Is it a loose bolt as I have read it is a common issue and have seen the following page Engine rattle

But don't know exactly how to tackle this.

Has anyone done this before, or had a step by step procedure or can refer to a video of some sort?

    TIA

Maybe take to an exhaust place...may be quickest option...could fix while there...possibly the Catholic Convertor rattling..

Perhaps a Catholic reformation is required ?

Must be kids next door putting a marble up your exhaust.

Check the exhaust heat shields. They crack, then rattle/vibrate at certain revs.

They also have a habit of the 4 ports within the exhaust manifold coming lose. Removal and a quick weld is best cure.
