    Default New ignition key

The flip out key for our 2007 307 was pretty floppy and the remote stopped working. I asked around and was eventually told of Michael Moran of Locked On Automotive Locksmiths, a mobile service specialising in Auto keys and locks. His van is equipped with an inverter to power a 240V mini CNC 3 axis key identifier and cutter. He can also plug into the OBD port to get the new key to talk to the car. He gave me the PIN for the car and the key code.

For $350 he got the original floppy key working again and supplied a new remote functioning key as well. I think that is very reasonable. I thoroughly recommend him.

He is based in the SE Melbourne suburbs. 0421 541 547

That does sound reasonable to me, too.

Next time I'm in Melbourne, and have some cash …
    (Does he take card payments?)

Actually, the flip out key for my 2007 307 won't flip closed at the moment, but at least the remote still works.

Recently bought a used 308 HDi. The vendor was using the solid key as the flippy remote unit had become a bit broken. My wife likes flippy remote so for about $5.50 we got a new blank from ebay which took a week, then I swapped the internals and our local Coffs Harbour locksmith cut the new blank for $32 and now everybody, including car, very happy. The ebay vendor and the Locksmith both take cards.
