Default Which car is best as a daily.... 306 gti6 or 207 gti...

Hey guys and girls my wife has give me an ultimatum with my pugs and that is 8 can only have one of em!
gti6 was purchased over a year ago and has since sat in my shed with the odd job done on it here and there..

207 gti gets used now and again, just in sure if to sell the 207 gti and register the 306 or vice versa, either way one has to go 😪😪

    I'd sell the 207 in a heartbeat.

If the GTi6 is good, keep it.

Although as a daily driver it'd be better to trash the 207

IMO the GTI6 is a way more fun and involving car (and sounds like nothing else with an induction kit), but the 207 is prob a better daily for commuting / highway etc with cruise, more airbags, more refined etc.

How far do you have to commute? If not far I'd keep the one you love the most

I'm actually considering a 207 GTi as a runabout (as you can get them under 5k pretty easily), but if I had a known, quality GTI6 I'd find it very hard to part with.

GTI6 all the way. IMO the last generation of cars Peugeot didn't compromise on fun, for the sake of appealing to the masses / regs.

I do honestly believe they will be the next to go up in value after the 205 for their similar fun factor, sexy design but the addition of safety features and better road manners.

    If I didn't have a 205, I'd have a 6

As a daily, the 207 would win, but as a keeper, it has to be the GTi-6.

    Does that help?

306 for sure. why commute in something that sucks just to keep the car you like to drive "for a weekend" when you could be driving it all the time?

306 - best looking hatch ever made; AND as said above, from when Pug made driver's cars. And the best model of 306. And best sized Pug for an all rounder. Err, what was the point of this question?

If the road is anything but billiard table smooth I would prefer the 6 - rides so much better

This thread makes me miss my 6! The xsi is good (and so easy to get the kid into the back seat) but you can really feel the softer rear end and lack of kick past 4500rpm...

I'd say the 207 GTi for daily duties, 306 gti6 for weekends.
