    Hello seasink, thanks....I did some digging and found this to be one of the most common codes.
    The others will have to wait until we hook up to dealers software.
    That should uncover a whole host of codes and will explain why we have
    no central locking, no access to rear hatch and fuel gauge acting funny.
    It goes to full and stays there.

    Has the battery ever gone flat, or else was it changed quickly without a wait? Some very strange things happen on 307s if the computer does not correctly hibernate before power goes.

    Sorry for not replying sooner.
    No, the battery has never gone flat, was replaced four years ago and always remains on charger when not in use.
    Yes, the battery was allowed to 'go to sleep' before disconnection and proper routine observed on re-connection.
    Latest thing is the BSI is not recognizing the key....there is not the usual 'bong, bong'. when key left in ignition
    with door open.
