Default How do I add a remote key FOB and key to a Pug 407

I only have one key/remote for the 2007 Pug 407 SW.

I know I can get a second key with no remote from Mr Minute for about $180.

However, if I want to a a second genuine remote and key, how do I got about doing that? Do I have to hand over $500 to the local Pug dealer or are there DIY alternatives?

If you know your 4 digit pin code (you should have a card that came with the car) then it's no big deal.
Using Diagbox, you enter the code and it asks you how many keys you want to program, you can have up to 5 keys.
So in brief you need a key blade cut to match yours, the 4 digit code & diagbox ... et voila.

Dave ask a dealer to provide it , but you need to show proof of ownership. Is the car registered?

Yes registered, in the process of transferring to my name. Will then organise code. I spoke to the guys at Peugeot Mt Gravatt, they want proof of ownership.

After driving beautifully for a week or 2, I am now experiencing problems with the AM6 gearbox. Planning an oil change over Easter but suspect it is mechanical.
