    Default 175 Tyres

    Hi,

Just wondering if someone knows whether which peugeot models had 175 tyres on them as standard. Preferably with 14 inch rims. Someone I know is building a clubman and can use the standard pug offset/4 nut system.

yeah all the 504's and 604's came standard with 175's on them with 14" rims

why a 604 was standard with 175's i don't know as that size tyre doesn't do a thing for them especially with the narrow rear end on them

    makes them look anarexic (sp?)

Yup, standard 504 and 505 GR 14" steel rims usually came with 175/80 or 185/80. I'm currently using 185/75's on mine. I've seen some with 195/75's on them, but on the pugs that can cause a few problems with the tyres rubbing the struts and the guards in some situations.

Someone, I once wrote, in the bowels of Peugeot understands handling and how a chassis should feel." - Jeremy Clarkson
