    Default 206HDi 110

I spoke to a dealer in regards to the deisel 206 he said we wont see them in OZ because of the fuel quality. What damage would be done if this car was run on our standard deisel? I thought BP is producing a low sulpher fuel if this is the problem.Maybe our fuel companies should start spending some of the vast amounts of profits on producing cleaner burning deisel fuel.
Looking at the specs of the 206, it seems like a great car. LuLu

    Default Diesel Fuel

I was preety sure they were going to bring in new restrictions on sulphur content in June so that no company can sell diesel over a certain level

Would be a great addition to the already good 206 lineup

So is the sulphur levels the only reason that our deisel fuel is not suitable for the new 206 ? Why can the latest 307HDi run on the current deisel?

We get the HDi 90 in the 307, one of Peugeot's lowest tech diesels in the passenger cars.

We miss out on the better ones.

Anyone want to guess how much boost the HDi 90 runs?

The new Euro diesels are fitted with particle filters. For OZ we get effectively an older design diesel ie 406/307 HDi. For the new diesels to run in OZ they need the filters removed and then a retune for our poorer fuel.
