    Default M7 Arghh!

Damn Peugeot and their love of an M7 thread on a 504. The only size this bolt is readily available in this country in is 35mm long. I'm contemplating the somewhat drastic step of drilling them all to M8. At least I will no longer have a need for the only imperial spanner I've ever used: 7/16".

Peugeot are not the only French car manufacturer that had a liking for M7 bolts, Renault did as well.

I have a vast collection of M7 bolts, I got mine from dismantling many cars. I use to keep every nut, bolt and clip and this has paid off over the years when I break or loose some small part.

So specifically French that Franzose do a special kit with 20 each of every M7 size you could wish for.
