    Default 205 GTI buyers guide

    Hey guys,

I just had a look at the most recent Unique Cars magazine, and low and behold, there is a buyers guide for 205 GTI's.

Might be of some relevant reading for those of you looking to purcahse one in the near future.

I was talking to a fella at the french car day, he said they are going to put a pic of his car in Unique cars mag. He owns a blue s3, is it in there. It did look very nice, it's the first blue 205gti i've ever seen.

Yeh, that dude's car is in the mag as an example. It looks pretty Micky Mouse. Has the leather option, and is in great condition. It gives quite a good review of the car and tells of its evolution over time.

It even mentions the 'closeness' of the pedals, however, the way in which it is talked of is quite amusing.

I will scan it up and email it to whomever needs it for the forum when I get a bit more free time. Most likely tomorrow.

if someone would like to write something up regarding a buyers guide for the 205 we can have a look and go from there

maybe a good idea if all you 205 people get together and throw your ideas and such into a bucket and come up with a single guide

what do you guys think ?

that way we have a guide for people to look for in 205's when in the market for one and the forum continues on as such

    Me??

I knew you guys all looked up to me!

    not..

OT: A 205 buyers guide would be fantastic, we have enough owners and level headed guys to do it.
We just need someone to be able to orchestrate it, and to get the tips etc. from the other members, and put it into one guide...
    any volunteers.

I'm looking to get a gti as my first car, so this is very important to me

I'm soooo jealous of that leather interior. that is a fine example!
