Default Tyre pressure for Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3

G'day, I just bought a 2001 206 GTi and it has 195/50 R15 Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3s on it. Does anyone know the best tyre pressure to use for these tyres on a 206 GTi?

    Thanks!

It's about 35 PSI all round (2.4 BAR).

However 206gti owners report good results with 35 (front) / 33 (rear) PSI.

Enjoy the GS-D3s, they're a great tyre - wet or dry.

Dont know about the older 206 GTi's but on the drivers door of my car there is a sticker with the recomended pressures on it. Not the sticker on the chassis - the one on the door itself. That said the GTi 180's dont seem to have those stickers on them! Mine has the 16's on it and I tend to run around 36psi all round. Have heard good things about the GS-D3's though! Cant wait till they come out in 205/45 R16's!

If you want specific info on the 206 GTi try http://206gti.net The FAQ there is really good too

    Enjoy the car!

    Welcome to drewie!

There should be a placard on the inside of driver's door there. The GS-D3s are a nice tyre, well done at picking up a 206 with those on there! The 15s are also very good on the 206, and a lot people reckon they're better than the 16s which are more fashoinable on the later ones.

206gti.net is a great site too, but don't feel we're telling you to go elsewhere, a lot of us are on both sites
