    Default Horn on an 306XR

    Hi all,

My gf is complaining about her Ns 306 XR's horn too weak and she could hardly heard it even she pressed that little switch on the stalk. So where exactly is the horn located and where can I get a super loud one for her ??

    Jason
P.S. She thinks the 206GTI horn is the loudest and best !

Go to Clints and get one of their air horns, $24.95 and sounds great I've got them on all my cars and only have had to replace a compressor once, after 5 years.

the horn on my 306 S16 sounds like someone stepped on it... it's bearly audible and it's very high pitched. I'm embarassed to use it.

Where th hell is it? It could just be a loose connection...
Under the wheel arch somewhere? Which side ?

The horn on all N3 306's is just infront of the passenger front tyre. it will next to the aifilter and behind the spot light reces. its an air driven unit but still works of 12v so any electric driven replacement will work. - Chris

ps, my old S16 horns still works, not bad for OEM.

My old N3 XT horn was quite loud and, well, arrogant, if I recall. Maybe she just needs to use it bit more
