    Default Very Early 403

I have just most possibly aquired a very early 403 ie one with trafficators can't remember the year off hand anyway the body itself is ok and subframes etc but the floorpan has rust would you say that it would be worth restoring given its rarity and not that much damage for its age

I saw a 56 model with trafficators at the French Car Day. My 57 model definitely didn't have them.

Don O'Regan has a very early one up near Narrabri...

He says there was some reinforcing added to the boot area in the first year or so of production, so if that's not there you can tell it's one of the first.
