    very interesting (but stupid ) - anyone know it? a Landrover also advertised, and there's a P5 there too.

    He has to be joking no series 2 landrover no matter what condition is worth that much. Not sure about the ute some of the old cars are worth a lot I saw an xy falcon for $35,000 dollars a couple of days ago

    no news info or better photos (and why are those off eBay?) just a bump for curiosity's sake; one of the things i liked about this was the older dashboard - saw this today

    It kinda looks 1948-50 time 203 but I suspect it's American, if the gauges are French, the I'm wrong ) about the American bit).

    Yeah Gerry, it has to be American.....that's a late 40's instrument cluster in English and I'm sure I've seen it in a '48 Chevie; colours are correct as is the rest of the dash.However, that sure ain't no '48 steering wheel........ lot's of character though. Don't overlook the fluted bonnet just visible through the windscreen either . "Curiouser and Curiouser" as someone said to Alice!

    PS: I forgot to say that the hole in the dash above the instrument panel probably housed the knob for the vacuum operated windscreen wipers......very GM of the period. Think FX and FJ holdens of the period.

    If anyone is interested in this car, I've just seen it advertised on another site for significantly less than the Gumtree ad.
