Default Locked myself out of 2006 Peugeot 407, how do I get back in?

I have locked myself out of our 2006 Peugeot 407.

I have been working on the car all afternoon. Doors were locked, deadlock enabled and battery disconnected while I was changing its thermostat.

Without thinking, I closed the bonnet without reconnecting the battery.

Key in the door does not open it. Remote obviously does not work. Bonnet is closed/locked.

Any ideas on how I get back into the car without breaking a window?

This is a copy and paste from a Peugeot Forum

"however put this on hold, and with help from next door and son got car up on blocks, removed plastic sump protectors and longest arm reached bonnet release catch from underneath. Smile
not easy but better than smashing the side window."

If short, you could find a really tall guy locally....one with long arms.

He might be able to reconnect battery too.

Read it again, Les. It's not a key problem.

The reference to accessing the bonnet latch from under the car gave me an idea. I got a long length of wire with a small V on the end, pulled the passenger door rubber back at the top right, pushed the wire through into the cabin of the car and grabbed the bonnet release under the dash and pulled it open. I was back in the car within 10 mins of trying, very easy. Thanks again fellas.

Lucky - the bonnet pull on the 308 is inside the door jam - you can only get to the bonnet pull with the door already open.

    Cheers
