    Default Time to bid adieu

Fellow froggers the time has come for me to leave Aussie Frogs as I have sold the Black Bitch (407 SV)as I affectionately call her. For the most part it has been a good car, but poor dealer representation in my area, and woeful parts and spares supply means a losing battle in the long run. Most other other mechanics want nothing to do with it. To buy another Peugeot would be just more of the same, so I am off to acquire something more mundane and agricultural. I have enjoyed my time on Aussiefrogs and have certainly enjoyed the entertaining stories that some members have put up. This is my third Peugeot and probably my last, I started with a 604 that I bought from a member and then went from that to a 405 SRDT (loved that car) and then the Black Bitch. To everyone on here, thanks very much ...... You never know, maybe one day.

    Cheers

No worries, I am sure you will come back to the fold after sampling other offerings, that seems to be the normal cycle of things, the other of course is when we display our cars and someone will inevitably come up and say. I used to own one of those, it was the best car I ever drove or something similar with a rather wistful look on their face.

Main thing is to enjoy yourself.

There's a dealer in Wollongong, not that long to get there from Nowra, and all the parts suppliers use couriers. The attitude of the local mechanics is a bit hard to comprehend, considering the numbers of Audis, Mercs and VWs around being repaired. Pugs are no harder than the others, or is the problem the lack of computer diagnostic software?

Ironically my local mechanic [who hates Euro cars ] kept on about the silver 407 he had in his shop.... how good it was and how much better than recent Mercs and Bmw's to drive....and more comfortable too he said. Couldnt shut him up about it.

Many years ago I bought a 504 diesel from a bloke south of Nowra in Bombaderry. There were pug specialists there.

    G'day,
hang around. We all [I'm sure] would like to hear about your new adventures. I, for one, have regretted every car and bike I have sold.
    Bonne chance.
    regards,
    Les W.
