    Default First Peugeot

I have had my 208 GTi for just over 3 weeks now and love it!

I have often visited Aussiefrogs over the years and now have a legitimate reason for joining the forum.

    Cheers
    Lee

Congratulations - they seem like an awesome little car.

You've probably also got more roads around your neck of the woods where you can enjoy the car and its handling than we have stuck in the middle of Sydney!

    G'day,
welcome to Aussiefrogs. Good looking car.
From what I have seen on the police tv shows, Albury Wodonga is a hot spot. You can't turn around with out being seen by a patrol car.

    Drive carefully.

    ps, more pics please.
    regards,
    Les W.

I agree. When I bought a 206, it was so zippy that it didn't take me long at all to pick up a fine.

    G'day,
there is an app, [of course there is] from RTA or Service NSW or transport for NSW called Speed adviser. It shows the speed limit for where you are, with an audio reminder when you go over.
Can be annoying at times, but cheaper than a ticket.
    regards,
    Les W.

Speed Adviser - Speeding - NSW Centre for Road Safety

An inefficient battery killer. Pity about the prey without smart phones

The 208 GTi has inbuilt navigation that informs you of the speed limit and you can also add warnings. It seems very accurate too.

Thanks! Why so long? I love the look of the 208 GTi but not the 207 or 307 so much... love the new 308 too but a liitle out of my price range.

I now find I am hankering for a 306 cabriolet!

It's called Orange Power and I think only available (in Australia at least) with the release of the facelifted 2015 208.
