Default 403 wagon rear wheel cylinders

I ordered new rear wheel cylinders for my recently acquired 403 wagon and found that they are about 6mm shorter in body length than the ones in the car. The cylinders in the car are 78mm long. Are they special to the wagon?

Who did you order from and exactly what info did you give them ?
I may have the correct NOS cylinders if you give me the length and bore sizes

The 403 Parts Manual says the rear wheel cylinders for 403L, U5 and U8 are 1" 1/8 as opposed to 1" for 403 sedans but doesn't mention length.

They are the correct bore at 1"1/8 but the body is shorter at about 72mm as opposed to 78mm on the old ones.

I ordered from Serie04. The bores are the same at 1"1/8 but the new ones are only about 72mm long. They said that with the master cylinder I have it should be ok but I'm still wondering why the difference

    very simple:
4402.09: sedan, both lhd and rhd
    4402.10: wagon U5 and U8 and L, rhd from VIN 2757588, 2819485 and 2914845
lhd up to VIN 2757587, 2819484 and 2914844
    4402.11: wagon U5 and U8 and L, rhd up to VIN 2757587, 2819484 and 2914844
    lhd from VIN 2757588, 2819485 and 2914845

the rest of the mechanism is also dependant on model and VIN, here you get your answer.
