I'd say so. Here is the Sydney Morning Herald in Parramatta Park for the start (the Frogs weren't interesting - yet)

It finished there too. Note the railway.

Gadang that takes me back, to about 1982 when we worked on the railway duplication dive tunnel right there. It was quite a challenge to build an open cut tunnel between two live train lines as I recall..

We used this same grassy patch as a staging area.

Don't it always seem to go that you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone............

I lived about 150m the other side of the railway, (fronting the golf course) when the flyover was built. I don't remember seeing you there. (Never worked out what the flyover did!)

If you have a look at it on Google earth you will see that one line crosses underneath and swaps side.

I was the skinny one with the mullet and suntan..

I'm also the guy who took a swan dive 7m down into a rocky excavation and busted himself up good.

That was before OH&S was invented.

Our 2nd TV was a Stromberg Carlson made in Melbourne. In a big wooden cabinet, badged H.G. Palmer, the retailer from which it was bought. (Remember them?) We had a tuning problem with it several years later. Dad rang the factory and asked to speak to a service technician. He explained the problem and the guy sent him a full set of circuit drawings on the equivalent of about A2-size sheets of paper. Can't imaging anyone doing that any more. I found them in a box in the garage a couple of years ago when we were clearing it out.
