Whatever... I'm sooo not interested in v8's unless they are from a Lambo or Ferrari.

Those American 8's are like Harleys... great for going in a straight line.

    dunno about that

i quite like the all alloy 3.5l buick V8

then of course there is a 403 pug V8

yes the american engines are great big lumps but they have a purpose and of course the exhaust rumble is something magic

nearly as good as a nice PRV note (odd fire of course)

I once read where Citroen even toyed with the idea of a V8 in DS.
From memory it was a cut down 2 door version as they were eyeing the Yank market at the time. I'm sure I know where I saw that story on the 'net but I'll be damned if I can find it.

    Maybe I was dreamin'

Taxi drivers are OK .. except the ones that try to take you on the "scenic" route - or in some countries where they'll put 2 or 3 rides together.
You're not fooling everyone, or did you forget? .......

I went to the easter nats today.. lots of v8s there... heaps of hoons.

There was a Pantera which was ok i guess. No Motreals though.

Heaps of wogs and aussie yobs. There's something about cars that cuts through the social barriers.

taxi drivers here are fine, never taken me on the scenic route, never wasted my time waiting very long when i go out and want to have a few they just generally don't know anything when it comes to cars that aren't australian

You forgot the 229 and 260 Ford V8s.

The 253 and 308 were Holden developed, and the 304 was the EFi V8 used from VNs onwards.
The Chev 350 is the most well known, but there were 307, 327, and even a couple of sub-300 sizes.

The 304 was actually introduced in the VK (carby), so that the Group A Commodore's would stay under 5000cc (4987cc), hence the 304.
