    Had my 306 HDi serviced at dealers a few years ago and they had ticked changed spark plugs in the book.
    After an inquirey, the service department office girl was blamed !

    Ah yes, blame and discipline...
    Look, it's my duty as a knight to sample as much peril as I can.
    I wondered if the plugs just stuck out into the chamber a long way and ran really hot, so the car was inclined to pre-ignite and run on.

    Oh good, I needed some of these! I've also sent an enquiry about his stock of blinker fluid and muffler bearings

    Wouldn't an adjustable exhaust baffle have a "muffler bearing"?
