    Default rim & tyre sizes

No doubt I could hunt around the web & find things out but you guys probably already know the answers so:

Would someone be able to tell me the standard tyre sizes & rim widths for:
    - 203
    - 403
    - 404
    - 504
    - 505

I would like to eventually know these dimensions for all variants of these models.

    thanks in advance, Peter

I'm pretty sure the factory tyre size for 504 was 175/80R14. 185/75R14 is commonly used more recently.

Most STis had 180 or 190 by 390 TRX, only the very last ones had the 14 inch wheels.

    Australian 203s had local wheels, mostly 4 inch by 16, later ones 4 inch by 15. Tyres 520 16 or 590 15 (radial 165 15)

403s had 4 by 15, tyres 590 15 or 165 15. Once again local wheels, I think imported cars had 4.5 inch wheels.

404s had 4.5 inch local and imported wheels are the same at least for the later models. 404 wheels are set in more than the 403 wheels so not usable on 403 unless you like the guards to be even emptier than usual.

    504 had 5 inch by 14 ,175 80 14 tyres

And didn't those wheels become sought after.

As far as I know, many people with metric rims on 505 STi's changed over to the 505 GTi ones to get something readily available and maintain the same appearance.

404L (wagon) had 5 inch wide rims in most of the world, but I am not sure about Aus.
