    Default 406 Seat Belt Wire

I recently installed a new driver's seat in my '03 406 to replace one with a broken frame. I would like to replace the seat belt stalk with the better one from my old seat, however there is a wire leading from the buckle to the harness under the seat that does not appear to have a connector that can be disconnected. Is there a way to disconnect the wire or do I have to cut and join?

It will definitely have a connection somewhere. Probably under the carpet or the Centre console. More likely the second. You will need to do a little exploring.
Before you do, get the replacement stalk. It will give you an idea how close the connector is

It may not have a connector, I could believe that it is loomed into the multi way seat connectors. Start with the old seat and try untangling all the looms from the seat, you'll quickly see if it terminates in its own connector. Cut and join is a quick fix, the wire is just for the seat belt detection so it doesn't need to carry much current.

Found the connector, thanks. I just needed to look harder. The stalk is integral with the pre-tensioner device so there are two connectors under the seat.
