Anyone have a recommendation for servicing the 407 hdi in Brisbane?

I've tried a few and none really impressed me. Zupps was ok, a bit exy. French Car was also ok, honest.

    Thanks.

Le French Motor at Woollongabba seem to be a good place, Robert is the owner/mechanic and everytime I have had a dealing with him is pleasant and knows his French cars.

Only place to go is DS Motors, particularly if you are doing the timing belt or other major mechanical work.

What sort of service is it? If it is purely an oil and filter change, do it yourself. No special tools needed other than a set of torx drives to remove the undertray and sump oil plug. You can buy Penrite DL/1 oil and the filter from Repco or Autobarn or special order from Supercheap Auto.

Another vote for Le French motors - Robert has been looking after our 307 for several years and no issues with the work or price. Just before christmas we had a new clutch, rear engine seal and timing belt replaced with no issues.

I could easily do an oil and filter change. However, I like someone to look over it every 18 mths.

It's also still idling a bit rough.

You could also try Peugeotech at Northgate. Stewart knows his Peugeots, and can give an honest appraisal.

Thanks, I tried Peugeotech. Nice people. Spent quite a bit of money there trying unsuccessfully to fix my surging problem. They politely ignored my suggestion about the EGR and kept spending time/money chem treating the DPF.
