    Icon4 Pug 206 Right engin mount

    Hey people I'm just replacing the right top engine mount on my 206

    how do you get to the button nut on the mount ?

    On some cars it's a weld in nut, you unscrew the mount out of the nut. On other vehicles there is a small window in the wheel arch where you can get a spanner in.

    I've never seen commercially advertised, the tool which works on the mount by gripping its castellations.

    Thanks, I got it with a big screw driver and a hammer and knocked it loose,,

    know I have the new mount in I have no noise in the front end now a nice $35 fix ,
    lucky I didn't wast all the money on the shocks I was going to buy


    The old mount was pretty stuffed

    Good work. Your lower rear mount is probably ripped from the excess movement, but hopefully that won't end up in a forum battle!

    Yeah, they do that.
    Mine tore the whole bodywork mount loose over time. It's now MUCH thicker on the body, and a powerflex solid mount. Can't see it loosening again - but it rattles the teeth a bit now.
